November 24th Christie's of NY will be auctioning off a very special print by Ronnie Wood.Last year in honor of the music industry legend, the late Ahmet Ertegun, Led Zeppelin asked their friend Ronnie Wood to creat a painting of their late friend that was later printed in a small edition of 100.
Most all of these prints were sold off to a crowed awaiting for Led Zeppelin to go on stage at the O2 Arena in London for their last concert. The prints signed by Ronnie alone sold for $3,00o each.
The prints now being offered in auction by Christie's is something very unique from the ones sold at O2, They are signed by all current members of Led Zeppelin. A collection of signature very rarely seen together these days.
This auction to will be strictly for the raising of money for charities in the honor of Ahmet Ertegun.
